Workshop on Oxygen Therapy and Oxygen Stewardship
The Workshop on Oxygen Therapy and Oxygen Stewardship was conducted on 25th July 2023 for Nurses was conducted in Maharaja Hall, Santosh Deemed To be University,Ghaziabad.The Chief Organiser and Director of the Program was Dr.Anil, Senior Consultant &Head, Critical Care Medicine, Santosh Medical College & Hospital.
The programme had started at 2pm. There were 5 speakers from different institutes and Faculties had participated.
The inauguration of the programme and the greeting of the speakers was done by Prof. Ms. Rajeshwari Jeyaraj, Principal, Santosh nursing college. Following that, the speakers were welcomed to take over the sessions. The 1st session started around 2.15 pm and speaker was Dr. Saurabh Mehra, Senior Consultant, Critical Care Medicine, Fortis Noida. He gave a brief introduction about oxygen therapy basics and oxygen stewardship.
The 2nd session started around 3 pm and speaker was Dr. Deepak Gupta, Senior Consultant Critical Care Medicine, Deepak Kailash Hospital, Delhi. He gave a brief idea about the oxygen- PSA plant / Manifold / Cylinder / oxygen concentrator / liquid oxygen.
The 3rd session begins at around 3.30 pm and the speaker was Dr. Mohnish Tripthi, Senior Consultant, and Head Emergency, Sarvodaya Hospital, Greater Noida. he was describing about the oxygen delivering devices.
Following that session, the next was begin around 4pm and it was by Dr. Kapil Choudhary
Professor, Dept of Anesthesia and Critical Care, MAMC, Delhi. He was elaborating about Oxygen Therapy Monitoring.The final session was started at 4.45 pm and it was about NIV / Ventilator for Oxygen Therapy. It was carried out by Dr. Manish Bharti, senior consultant, critical care consultant, Sharda hospital, greater Noida.
At the end of the sessions the faculties gained knowledge regarding the Oxygen Therapy, Sources of Oxygen, Oxygen Delivery Devices, Oxygen Therapy Monitoring and Ventilator Oxygen Therapy. The programme was well organized and it was very much helpful for the faculty members who were participated in the sessions and it was very much useful in developing the skills and knowledge regarding the Oxygen Therapy. The workshop was honoured with the presence of Vice Chancellor Madam Dr.Tripta Baghat.
The programme was concluded with Vote of Thanks at 6pm.
