Sports Day Celebration at Santosh College of Nursing - Day 2 Highlights
The second day of the Sports Day event at Santosh College of Nursing, held on 1st October 2024, continued to foster a spirit of excitement and athletic enthusiasm. Organized under the guidance of Principal Prof. Ms. Rajeshwari Jeyaraj, along with Mrs. Bhuvanaya and Mrs. Kanika Sharma (Assistant Professors), the event brought together students from BSc Nursing, MSc Nursing, and GNM programs in a series of competitive outdoor games.
Students, divided into four dynamic teams—Lavender, Rose, Bluebell, and Daisy, with Captains and Vice Captains leading from senior batches, showcased their talents in various sports activities.
Day 2 Activities (01/10/2024):
The outdoor games organized for the day included:
- Throwball (Girls)
- Basketball (Boys)
- Kho-Kho (Girls)
- Kabaddi (Boys)
Faculty members and the PT teacher, Mr. Yogesh, ensured smooth execution and fair play throughout the events. Refreshments were provided to all participants, keeping their energy and morale high.
The students demonstrated remarkable enthusiasm, teamwork, and competitive spirit, making Day 2 another memorable chapter of the week-long Sports Day celebration.
