Public Outreach on AIDS Awareness Day by Department of Physiology
The Department of Physiology organized an impactful AIDS Awareness Day session on August 8, 2025, as part of its community outreach efforts. Conducted at the Doc24 clinic, Cross Road Republik, the session was led by MD students Dr. Ritesh and Dr. Chetna, along with Dr. Raman, with the crucial aim of educating the general public, patients, and attendees. The team successfully clarified the important difference between HIV and AIDS, addressed common myths, and strongly emphasized key preventive measures. Informative banners and posters were displayed in both Hindi and English to maximize reach and impact. The initiative was a great success, encouraging informed community discussions and reflecting the department’s commitment to combining medical knowledge with social responsibility to promote public health.
