Pathology Workshop on Advanced Tissue Processing and Staining Techniques
The Department of Pathology organized a workshop on on 11/08/2025 at MEU Hall, II Floor, Santosh Medical College, Ghaziabad. The workshop was attended by faculty members Dr. Adreena Mittal, Dr. Swati Singh, Dr. Alka Dixit Vats, Dr. Richa Sharma, Dr. Prarthna, and 20–25 students. The programme aimed to connect theoretical knowledge with practical skills in tissue processing and staining, and to help participants understand their importance in histopathology and operate automated tissue processors and stainers efficiently. The workshop covered the basics of tissue processing, staining, and quality control in the histopathology lab. Feedback from participants was positive, and the outcomes included hands-on experience with automated techniques, quality control, and troubleshooting.
